We All Have Talents Within Us
Finding the Key to Unlock and Develop Our Inner Dreams
Opens Up a World of Happiness and Fulfillment!
I am an artist at heart, my brother Bob is a talented pianist who played "by
ear" at a very young age. Neither of us developed these talents, we went on to
more mundane things like earning a living and raising our families. The dreams
of expression never went away, they just never developed. One day something
happened to change that and I wanted to write my own story so that others could
see that it is not an "impossible dream", that inner wish to find the key.

Music was always a big part of my family life. My mom loved the show tunes and
soundtrack music, but no Sunday dinner was complete without classical music in
the background. She wanted to be sure we knew that music had many flavors and
all of it was good. In school, my brother took part in the band, he wanted to
play the clarinet because piano wasn't a school band option. He really wanted
to play the piano, but that wasn't one of the classes offered at school. He
still fiddled with the old piano we had at home, he'd pick out tunes and he
learned how to read music, but he never spent any time pursuing piano again
until he retired. He bought a small
keyboard
to work on, not too sure if he
would really be able to accomplish his dream. It wasn't "easy as pie" but
gradually he worked out and little by little picked up more and more. He
started with a paperback book, but honestly, reading about how to do something
and then figuring out how it is done is not the best way to learn.

A Chance Video
Last Thanksgiving my daughter-in-law brought over a video of her mother playing
guitar
and I asked her if she could play too. I thought that growing up with a mother
who could play like that she surely must have had a great time learning with
her mother. She told me that her mother just started last year, with a course
from
Legacy Learning,
that it was something her mom had wanted to do all
her life and she got started with a birthday gift from her children. I was
impressed and set out to learn more about the courses they offer. That's how I
found the perfect gift for my brother. The
Legacy Learning programs
let you choose the level of help you need, he wasn't exactly a beginner, but I
found the perfect course and wrapped up the whole shebang for his Christmas
gift
last year.

I can't believe the difference, it is more than I hoped Bob would get out of the
lessons. He's so proud of where he is today, still no concert pianist but
enjoying sharing his talents and doing so much better every day. I'm hoping by
Christmas my son can take a video of him playing some old favorites to share
with his mother-in law and who knows, maybe one day they can both play for a
family get together. The
Legacy Learning courses
are very detailed, but simple
to follow and because they're on DVDs you can see and hear what you're learning
and practice along, picking up dexterity and new tips as you go. My brother
Bob feels like he's accomplishing something he's always wanted to do! They
offer courses in Ballroom Dancing and oil painting as well as music so I know
where to find the secrets to help me fulfill my secret wishes too.

I'm one of those folks who was always drawing, on everything. I always enjoyed
art and could spend days in museums where the paintings just absorb me. I've
always wished I knew how to work with the colors and get the paint to look like
what I see in my mind. Well after that little piano recital my brother
produced, I'm going to start developing my own hidden talents.
Legacy Learning's
course in oils includes a package of all the supplies I need to
follow along with the course, and I just know that with a little bit of time
and effort I can learn to paint my dreams! If you or someone you love has
these talents that haven't been let out because they lack that little bit of
direction, don't keep putting off getting them started. You can change their
world and give them pride in their accomplishments, it's just an amazing
feeling!
